International Hip-Hop/Rap artist Iceberg Slimm returns with brand new single “CEO” after nearly two decades away from music. Known for his sharp lyricism, metaphor-driven wordplay and authentic storytelling, he has built a distinctive sound that resonated across global stages in the late 90’s.
Becoming one of the first rappers to ever sign to a major label in the 2000’s, his breakthrough single “Nursery Rhymes” (1999) reached No.37 in the UK Top 40 charts. This was followed by the Top 10 hit “Can’t Get Enough” with Raghav and followed by “Starship” featuring Coree from R&B group Damage also charting in the Top 40.
Produced by Dready, a longtime affiliate of So Solid Crew, “CEO” is a hard-hitting hip-hop record that captures the essence of classic hip-hop production, combining confident lyricism, charismatic wordplay and commanding delivery.
Alongside the original version, Iceberg has also recorded an international version featuring Raghav, whose melodic Hindi vocals introduce the record to the South Asian audiences that have supported Iceberg throughout the past two decades.
Completing the package is a remix produced by Blazin Squad member Marcel “Rocky B” for DMODE productions, blending Afro-inspired Amapiano rhythms with tribal house influences to create a fresh club-ready interpretation of the record.
For years, many assumed Iceberg Slimm had simply walked away from music. The truth was far more personal.
Nearly 20 years ago, Iceberg Slimm put his recording career on hold after his father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Before he passed away, his father asked him to build a career that would allow him to remain in the UK and be present for his younger siblings and his son as they grew up. Iceberg honoured that promise.
Instead of pursuing the music industry full-time, he earned a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Education alongside qualifications in child psychology. He went on to dedicate his career to supporting permanently excluded students, young people affected by gang culture, and children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), working across London boroughs to make a lasting difference away from the spotlight. Music, however, never left him.
Although absent from commercial releases, Iceberg continued performing internationally alongside South Asian superstar Raghav, touring throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America while building a loyal following within the global South Asian and Desi music scene.
Now, after almost two decades, Iceberg says he has found peace with the loss of his father and is ready to finish the chapter that was left unfinished. His new single, “CEO,” marks his official return.
“CEO isn’t just another single. It’s the record that completes a journey I started with my King Man (Dad) nearly 20 years ago. Coming back with Raghav and Dready makes it feel like everything has come full circle.”
The project carries even deeper meaning because Iceberg’s father helped fund the original vision for the record before his passing, making “CEO” not only a creative reunion but the completion of a deeply personal promise nearly two decades in the making.

Iceberg Slimm is an international Hip-Hop/Rap artist celebrated for sharp lyricism, metaphor-driven wordplay, and authentic storytelling. Influenced by artists such as Redman, Nas, Jay-Z, Black Thought, and LL Cool J, he has developed a distinctive sound that resonates across the global music scene since the late 90’s. His cross-genre collaborations—particularly within the South Asian music scene—have expanded his international reach and reinforced his reputation as a versatile and dynamic collaborator. Iceberg Slimm led the way with Raghav to be a part of the first Hip Hop/Desi record to break into the mainstream arena which opened doors for all the other urban and Desi artists to follow the blueprint.
Following his 2004 debut album Da World on Ice and an 18-year hiatus, Iceberg Slimm returns with new music that reflects his artistic evolution. His current work blends South Asian, African, and Caribbean influences, marking a bold new chapter in his sound.
