Fresh off the global success of her Grammy-winning single “Water”, South African pop sensation Tyla returns with a bold new offering, her four-track EP WWP (We Wanna Party).
Blending Amapiano, Afrobeats, R&B, and mainstream pop, WWP is a vibrant celebration of Tyla’s South African roots and her rise toward global superstardom. The project features the previously released singles Bliss and Is It, alongside fresh additions Mr. Media and Dynamite featuring Nigerian Afrobeats icon Wizkid. Together, they solidify Tyla’s place as one of the most exciting voices redefining contemporary African music.
The title WWP comes from a South African chant that embodies carefree celebration, or as Tyla puts it, “enjoyment with people that are a vibe.” Across its four tracks, the EP moves from sultry defiance to flirtatious fun, powered by polished production from P.Priime, Sammy Soso, and Ari PenSmith.
Lead single Bliss, premiered live at Coachella, bursts with uplifting percussion and an irresistible groove. Is It takes a sharper turn with unapologetic lyrics like “Is it the fvcks that I don’t give?” — a line that’s already sparked viral dance challenges and TikTok trends.
The standout track, Dynamite featuring Wizkid, radiates chemistry and Afro-fusion brilliance. Unearthed from a 2022 demo, the track’s addictive hook, “Your body bang like dynamite”, is destined for heavy rotation. Wizkid’s effortless flow blends seamlessly with Tyla’s silky delivery, creating a perfect mix of seduction and celebration.
Closing track Mr. Media sees Tyla facing her critics head-on, pairing lyrical bite with genre-bending style. It’s a confident closer that underlines her fearless artistry and flair for innovation.

With WWP, Tyla not only delivers an EP packed with infectious rhythms and crossover appeal, she also reaffirms her place as a global force shaping the sound of modern African pop.
