SACREBLEU: Where Sound Meets Environmental Storytelling

Sacré bleu is not just a phrase. It is a wake-up call. SACREBLEU is an experimental short film series that uses music and surreal imagery to spark conversations about our relationship with the planet. Directed by Clément Oberto, the first chapter begins with a haunting image: a childlike figure rising from the ocean with a plastic bag covering his head, a stark symbol of how blind we have become to environmental damage.

The project tackles important themes, including

  • Plastic pollution
  • Climate anxiety
  • Emotional disconnection from nature
  • The journey toward reconnection and awareness

Created by a global team of artists from the U.S., France, Argentina, and Colombia, SACREBLEU is art with a mission to inspire change by reaching people on a human and emotional level.

Early Recognition and Awards

The film has already been honored at several international festivals:

  • Winner: Rome Prisma Independent Film Awards
  • Best Music Video: Berlin Indie Film Festival
  • Official Selection: Paris International Short Festival and
  • Official Selection: Stockholm Short Film Festival
  • Honorable Mention: Tokyo International Film Festival
